compile all the valid arguments/supporting evidence into one big list; determine the best wording (most persuasive) for your arguments
think about other supporting evidence that could be given to support your statement--personal experience or outside sources; the evidence has to be factual . . . no opinions
determine a logical order for the presentation of the arguments and divide the presentation equally among the teammates
rehearse your presentation; help all teammates be successful
if time, look at other teams' topics and prepare good rebuttal statements or good questions that will make the teams have to really defend their statement
if time, think about what flaws other classmates might find in your arguments and prepare possible rebuttals
work session during class for Build A School team presentation--try to complete the design of the school and planning your presentation as much as possible in class so that everyone can finish their chapter 4 assignment on time; if anyone is unable to attend today's meeting, your team will design a school without you and you will design your own school
chapter 4 assignment1 (you can read the chapter whenever you want, but don't start the blog entry until after your team finishes designing your school)
